The Paradoxy Center for Incarnational Christianity at St. Nicholas Church was founded by the Rev. Ken Howard in 2010 not long after the publication of Paradoxy: Creating Christian Community Beyond Us and Them..
Our vision is the transformation of the Church. We seek to prepare the beloved community to effectively engage the future which God has prepared for us to walk in by rediscovering the truth of the Love that lies at the heart of the faith.
Our work is enabling clergy-lay leadership teams — through training and coaching — to facilitate the strategic transformation of the structures, processes, and cultures of their churches or church organizations in ways that enhance their capacity for belief without rigidity, inclusivity without ambiguity, distinctiveness without boundaries, conflict without schism, evangelism without proselytizing, us without them.
Our programs and resources are grounded in Scripture and centered in life. Biblically based, experiential, and application oriented, they are tailored to the needs of participating groups.
